📋 Auction Terms & Conditions – BidBid.ca

These terms apply to this auction event only. By placing a bid, you agree to the conditions outlined below. Please read carefully before participating.

🛒 Bidding & Participation

• All bidders must be 18 years or older.

• Every bid placed is final and legally binding.

• Once the auction ends, winning bids cannot be canceled or retracted.

• Listings close one by one every 20 seconds, beginning at the advertised closing time.

• If a bid is placed in the final 60 seconds of a listing, a 60-second auto-extension is triggered.

💳 Payment Terms

• Payment is due within 7 days of the auction closing.

• Accepted methods: You will be charged for the items you won after the event is closed. or Visa, Mastercard, Debit (in-store), and Cash.

• All prices are in Canadian Dollars (CAD) and subject to applicable taxes.

• There are no buyer premiums or hidden fees.

• Canceled items are subject to a 10% restocking fee.

Unpaid invoices after 7 days may lead to forfeiture, restocking fees, and account suspension.

• Pickup Hours:

  Sat 10 AM - 6 PM

(No pick-up on Fridays, Sundays and Mondays)

• All won items must be paid and picked up within 7 days unless an extension is approved.

Need More Time?

• Paid orders may be held for one additional auction cycle (up to 2 weeks) only if paid before the Saturday following auction close.

• To request extra time, email support@bidbid.ca.

First-Time Buyers:

• Must present valid government-issued photo ID at pickup.

Shipping:

• shipping applies to orders with all items marked “shippable” 

• Heavier or special-handling items may incur additional fees.

• Items marked “Pickup Only” cannot be shipped under any circumstances.

• To request shipping, reply to your invoice before paying.

🔁 Returns & Warranty

We offer a 30-day warranty from auction close date on:

• Items with electronic or mechanical components

• Items that are misrepresented in the description or photos
  (Warranty excludes items sold “AS-IS”)

Returns are accepted only if:

• Item does not function as described

• Item has undisclosed damage or missing key components

Returns will NOT be accepted for:

• Buyer’s remorse (wrong size/model/preference)

• Items missing packaging or damaged after pickup

• Claims without photo/video proof

• AS-IS items (final sale, no warranty)

All returns must be approved by email.
Warranty claims must be made within 30 days of auction close.
Inspect your items at pickup — damage claims must be made on-site.

🚫 Defaults & Violations

• Canceled items: 10% restocking fee

• Unpaid items after 7 days: forfeited and relisted

• Paid items not picked up in 30 days: forfeited, no refunds

• Repeat no-shows or false claims: permanent ban

• Fraudulent returns: account deactivation and potential legal action

At BidBid.ca, we offer flexible shipping and pickup options designed to make your auction experience easy, reliable, and transparent.

📦 Shipping Eligibility

We offer shipping within Canada as long as all items on the invoice are marked as "Shippable".

• We automatically bundle multiple shippable items from the same auction when shipping is requested.

• Very heavy or oversized items are excluded from bundles and will be handled separately (if shippable).

📬 Shipping Details

• Canada-wide shipping only.

• We ship using Canada Post and ChitChats, and delivery method depends on carrier availability and regulations.

• P.O. box delivery is subject to the policies of the shipping provider.

• If tracking is available, it will be provided upon shipment.

• we’ll calculate and add the shipping cost to your invoice after you request shipping.

🕓 Processing & Delivery Times

• Orders are typically shipped within 1–3 business days after payment is received.

• Delivery times vary depending on your location and the carrier used.

📌 How to Request Shipping

1. After the auction ends, you’ll receive a single invoice for all items you’ve won.

2. Reply to the invoice email to request shipping.

3. We’ll calculate and apply the shipping fee (if applicable) and update your invoice.

4. Once payment is made, your order will be processed for shipping.

💳 Payment & Storage Policy

• Payment is due within 7 days of the auction closing date.

• If you need more time to pick up or arrange shipping after payment, please contact us at support@bidbid.ca.

• Items not paid within the 7-day window may be considered forfeited and re-listed without notice.
